Poland Coronavirus Restrictions Today February 2021

What is open?

Since March 2020 the Polish government has been imposing, easing, tightening and lifting restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and that has been quite a bad rollercoaster ride for Polish entrepreneurs as well as people planning to visit Krakow or Poland.

Shopping centres and museums (including Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial Museum, the Salt Mine in Wieliczka and all Krakow museums) are already open.

On February 12th 2021, the hotels, cinemas, theatres, opras, philharmonics, and skiing slopes will be open again. Restrictions regarding bars and restaurants have not changed, which means they are only allowed to serve meals and drinks to go or to deliver.

The new regulations are applicable until  February, 26th when the government will provide us with yet another update, until then all the tours which include a museum visit (find them here) will run without any change in the itinerary!

Poland’s Travel Restrictions

There is a  mandatory 10-day self-isolation period for foreigners entering Poland on a public transport (coach, bus, train or aircraft) unless they show a negative SARS-CoV-2 test upon the entrance to the country. The results of the test are valid for 48 hours.

You do not need to self-isolate nor provide a test result if you are travelling by car.
