Private Auschwitz Tour from Krakow

Unbelievably knowledgeable, professional, and engaging. She asked me questions to find out about me, and used this information to help personalize the tour. She showed me typical touristy things, but we ducked into some lesser-known places to learn more about “the real Kraków”. She took me to a genuine restaurant for lunch and made sure I ate authentic polish cuisine). Anyone is lucky to have her as a guide.

Today Zuzanna picked me and my partner up from our Hotel, we had a great drive to Auschwitz learning many things along the way. Zuzanna was so easy to talk to and showed great interest in everything we spoke about. We arrived and was greeting By our amazing guide that Zuzanna had arranged for us, we visited both sites and there was so much time to stop ask questions and take pictures (respectfully) when we could. On our way back to the hotel Zuzanna stopped by an amazing little Cafe and told us great stories about how this Cafe came to be, along with showing us around a little museum.

I couldn’t recommend touring with Zuzanna enough she is super friendly happy and make you feel at ease.

Huge thanks to Zuzanna P who was our tour guide on Thursday 28th November 2019 during our stay in Krakow.. Zuzanna arrived promptly to collect us from our apartment in a clean and roomy vehicle. She has an extensive knowledge of the area and was able to give us information and the history of places, building and bridges as we travelled to the camps. The following trip to the Jewish Museum made everything very real and we all agreed it was a must do after visiting the camps. Thank you

Zuzanna was spectacular. I hired her to drive me to a city 3 hours away so I could do family research at the state archives. She immersed herself in my experience like they were her issues. She wasn’t just a guide; she helped problem solve. She even made inquiries to the archives in advance so they were ready for us. She’s very knowledgeable about culture and history and even thought me things I thought I was an expert in. I wish I could give her 100 stars. She’s amazing and her English is flawless.

This was our 2nd day with Zuzanna. It was a very tough, somber day but Zuzanna educated in an unflinching fashion while still being very human. She was very aware if we needed a little space and didn’t talk just for the sake of talking. Loved our visit to Poland and Zuzanna was a very big part of that experience for us. My tour to Auschwitz with Zuzanna was so memorable. Her knowledge of the camp is so impressive. What makes her tour so meaningful is her personal and intimate stories of so many prisoners whose lives were forever changed. I feel so fortunate that Zuzanna was my guide to Auschwitz. Zuzzanna was an excellent guide. She was extremely knowledgeable about the Auschwitz camp and the history prior to, during and after World War II. Zuzzanna is a careful and considerate driver with a comfortable van. I strongly recommend her services. Although no longer required by the Polish government she completed the very challenging licensing program when it was required. You will learn a lot about Polish history and culture from Zuzzanna.

Zuzzanna was an excellent guide. She was extremely knowledgeable about the Krakow area including its long history including pre war, Nazi occupation, communist control and post 1989 freedom. Zuzzanna is a careful and considerate driver with a comfortable van. I strongly recommend her services. Although no longer required by the Polish government she completed the very challenging licensing program when it was required. You will learn a lot about Polish history and culture from Zuzzanna.

Zuzanna was a fantastic guide. She is extremely knowledgeable and goes out of her way to help. We tour a lot and she is possibly the best guide we have ever come across. We cannot recommend her highly enough and would suggest that if you ever visit Krakow you make sure that Zuzanna guides you.

A wonderful experience. From the beginning, Zuzanna was very responsive in communicating and making arrangements. On the day of our tour, she picked us up from our hotel right on time. We spent the day at Auchwitz, which was a bit of a drive from the hotel. Zuzanna was so informative and provided so much insight on the country and culture while we traveled. Of many tour options to visit Auschwitz, Zuzzana’s is best. Her English is flawless and she gave us very informative background information on Poland, Krakow and it’s history. She was very personable and didn’t just read off of a “script”. What made her tour exceptional was the visit to Oswiecim, the small village close to the camps. Our visit here gave us a deeper understanding of the tragedy of the Holocaust and something everyone should experience alongside their visit to Auschwitz. Deeply moving.

On the drive to Auschwitz, we had an interesting conversation with Zuzanna that added to our overall experience of the day. In addition to pointing out places to us, she also shared some of her grandparents’ experiences during and post WWII. For our tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau, she arranged a private tour guide for us upon request. I highly recommend this. The part that I find that stays with me, is the visit to the village of Oswiecim and its Jewish museum and synagogue. A well rounded, thoughtful tour.

A very informative and prompt guide. We got to have a local lunch and she was so knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Zuzanna to anyone visiting as she will infinitely enrich the experience. Zuzanna is tremendously knowledgeable about the Jewish history and the history surround Krakow, and Poland in general. She is very pleasant, prompt, and easy to work with. We did two tours with her and I can’t recommend her strongly enough. This tour in particular is special because she also takes you to Oświęcim which really helps drive home history of the people and the camp. I will certainly use Zuzanna in the future.

We took 3 tours with her over 3 days. Auschwitz, Krakow then Salt Mines. Zuzanna was super efficient every time we contacted her to arrange/rearrange the tours (flights changed.) She was great fun. Very friendly, excellent English but best, very knowledgeable always engaging with great story telling. Her van is modern/comfortable and she is a very safe driver. Her suggestions on food stops were fantastic. Highly recommended

Zuzanna took us on two tours – one walking tour and one driving tour – and was excellent! Guides in Krakow don’t have to be qualified, but Suzanna is and it shows! Her depth of knowledge means she is not ‘scripted’ as so many guides are… she just chatted to us, and was full of information, both historical and hilarious! She was very entertaining and friendly, putting us at our ease very quickly; it was like experiencing Krakow with a friend!

We took the Zalipie: Polish Wine-Tasting & Homestyle Lunch Private Tour with Zuzanna. This was truly one of the best days of our trip! We loved seeing the painted houses, visiting with and having lunch with one of the village women, and visiting the winery to taste delicious wines and have a lovely cheese assortment!

She was a pleasure to communicate with and went above and beyond answering our questions about Polish history and legends on our drive to/from Krakow. Her english is great and she was very accommodating to our party of seven; my husband and I, our parents and our 14, 17,and 19 yr. old children . We had the most amazing day with Zuzanna! She is a true professional. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and fun to spend a day with. I would even go so far as to say she was the best tour guide we’ve ever had!
We absolutely loved visiting the painted houses, the lunch was so so good as was visiting with the homeowner… the winery visit and tasting were also phenomenal! Truly a fabulous way to spend a day while in Krakow and be able to see the beautiful country.

Our day with Zuzanna in the Tatra Mountains was fabulous, she provided the unique tour we requested. We wanted to enjoy the natural and local beauty of the region without the commercial aspects. After a ride to the top of Kasprowy Wierch, we spent some time walking the ridge line and taking in the scenery and surrounding mountains. Lunch was at a local Hansel and Gretel type cottage restaurant. Zuzanna took us along the back roads to visit and share characteristic aspects of the region. Perfect day!

We are fortunate to travel regularly, and we often use local guides Zuzanna is now at the top of our list! While a different guide gave us the actual tour at Auschwitz-Birkenau site, Zuzanna provided transportation to the site from our hotel in Krakow , gave us detailed background on Krakow/Auschwitz area and engaged with us on a interesting geo-political discussion of Poland. She lived in the US for a year, so her English is excellent. She took us to the Salt Mines the next day. Highly Recommend.

Zuzanna, our excellent English speaking guide certainly knows her stuff and is incredibly well-read with an excellent knowledge of all things related to this horrific place, including historic anti-semitism, Polish resistance/collusion and the horrors the local population endured during and after the war. The visit to Oswiecim after the camps was a bonus and a good opportunity to discuss the day. I would highly recommend her as a guide.

Zuzanna gave the best tour I possibly could have hoped for. I requested a customized tour as I wanted to travel from Krakow to Nowy Sacz- a couple of hours away- to see where my grandfather lived. She took such an interest in helping me locate the plots of land where he would have lived in the early 1900’s, when maps there had only numbers; no street names. We even visited three town offices for info. And then at my request, we took a last minute trip to Slovakia! Somehow, she made it all work. 5 stars!!

I took Zuzanna’s Auschwitz-Birkenau tour – highly recommend her as a guide – she is superb – fluent in English, and very customer oriented. Best way to get to the camps, see some countryside and begin to be more informed about the how why and where of how these places came to be. This method truly enhanced our tour at the camps as we felt more prepared and after a very sober experience it is also a great way to ask even more questions on the return journey. Suzanna was extremely good at all of the above and much appreciate her informative discussions.

Luckily she had an opening for the day. Zuzanna was an amazing guide she pointed out things and provided information that I wouldn’t have known or thought to ask during my time inside.
